Allison studied art at UMaine where she earned her B.S. in Art Education. Upon graduation she received an honors award for her excellence in studio art. She later moved west and continued studying art through classes at Rocky Mountain Film School, California College of the Arts and Kala, where she was a resident artist. Her work has been exhibited in group shows on the east and west coasts.
Psychology and sociology heavily influence her work. She begins her ideas with writing and research. Allison's goal is to create and write for the sake of personal growth, with as much focus on the journey as the finished result.
