Art has always been a refuge for me. Since the time I was old enough to hold a crayon I have been creating. I find I am able to express myself most clearly and honestly through painting. My desire is to capture little capsules of time or emotion in my work while maintaining a childlike presence. In 1994 I earned an Art Studio degree from Sonoma State University, and have continued to take art classes when ever possible. Through out my life I have been exposed to wonderful artists and poets who have left an impression on my heart. Marc Chagall, Amedeo Modigliani, Georgia O'Keeffe are ever present with me when I paint. Poems by E.E. Cummings, Mary Oliver, and David Whyte have inspired images that became paintings. I have had small shows over the years but it is my intention now to push my work out into the world with fearless abandon. My work can be found in private collections throughout the Untied States..
